The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere kumawu District in the Ashanti region, Hon Samuel Adai Agyekum has donated Twelve 12 hairdryers and Twelve (12) sewing machines to newly graduated hairdressers and seamstresses respectively in the District.
The kind gesture forms part of the Sekyere kumawu District Assembly’s social policy to assist young women operates on their own to become economically self-sufficient and independent.
This laudable programmed, according to the DCE Hon Samuel Adai Agyekum said is part of the project 600 which the assembly and MASLOC do to help not less than 600 people this year.
He admonished them to be take good use of the machines so that the rest of their people will also benefit from this project.
The beneficiaries thanked the assembly for thinking about them.
