The vice president Dr. Mahamadu Bawumiah cut of his campaign tour in the Greater Accra Region today and headed to the North East Region to commiserate with victims of Thursday’s floods that affected several communities and lives in the West Mamprusi Municipality.
Together with the regional NADMO and the North East Regional Coordinating Council he conveyed the President’s sympathies to the affected persons and donated relief items.
According to him Government is very much concerned about the plight of all citizens, particularly in times of grief and such casualties. It is my prayer that the lives of the victims and the affected communities will come back to normalcy in the shortest possible time.
