Flag bearer of the opposition National Democratic congress (N.D.C.) , John Dramani Mahama says President Akuffo Addo ha lost the fight against corruption.
Speaking on Wazor Tv in an interview Sunday 23rd August, he said that everybody know that when you fight corruption, corruption fights back and depending on who you are in Nana Addo’s administration you can do whatever you want and get away with it because he will personally clear you and say that nothing untoward has happened. According to Ex-President Mahama there is a long list of corruption cases and no individual has been investigated, and the Office of The Special Prosecutor is his own baby but has tied the hands of Mr. Martin Amidu who is a very vociferous lawyer and if his hands were free to investigate these cases he would have gotten some prosecutions by now.
Another point he established is that, when you fight corruption you need to do it so that it becomes a deterrent so that others will not engage in it, so obviously Nana Addo has lost the fight against corruption. Mr. Mahama said he does the President who is a lawyer and knows the constitution so well has asked Mr. Domelevo who is the Auditor General to proceed on leave, and it sis the same as asking the E.C. commissioner to go on leave or asking the Chief Justice to also go on leave. That’s is the import of what he has done and why he has done it is that just Domelovo was investigating a person close to him to him that’s the Senior Minister on the Kroll Associates matter and it was time to go back to the court so we notice he has accumulated leave , and goes on leave and then the locks to his office and when a person goes on leave and they change te locks to your office then it means there is no intention of coming back so obviously N.P.P. Government has lost the fight against corruption
