Hon. Member of Parliament for Akropong Constituency in the Eastern Region Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei has justified why he voted for Rt. Honorable Mike Oquaye. Writing on her Facebook page she said Mike Oquaye in the helm of affairs had prowess in the just ended parliament and was able tp pass almost 50 Legislative instruments in the 7th parliament. I voted Rt. Hon. Mike Oquaye because of his prowess in the just ended dissolved Parliament. With him at the helm of affairs, we passed almost 50 Legislative Instruments in the 7th parliament. However, most of my colleagues believed otherwise in their choice of a new Speaker. This notwithstanding, we look forward to a more united Parliament. We again look forward to delivering positively in the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
We have a Speaker.
We have a newly sworn-in President.
We hope for a brighter tomorrow.
